The sun comes up and the sun goes down

Water in the well gettin' lower and lower
Can't take a bath for six months more

I open the door and the fies swarm in
I shut the door, sweatin' again
And in the process, I cracked my shin
Just one durn thing after another

Ol' brown mule, he must be sick
I jabbed him in the rump with a pin on a stick
He humped his back, but he wouldn't kick

A mouse chawin' on the pantry door
He's been at it for a month or more

Grief and misery, pains and woes

Life gets tasteless, don't it.
