Greg F, a lot of the things you say make sense. The part that scares me about some of your posts is when you refer to a human being as an "it". It has been that practice of de-humanizing people that has made most genocides and war atrocities possible. Don't you want to be above that kind of stuff? Do you think you can talk like that about another human being, however disturbing that person may be, and still maintain the moral high ground?
