I had never heard of Lady Nairne, let alone Carolina Oliphant - but I certainly am familiar with some of those songs. Noteworthy, to my mind, that at least some of those romantic 'Bonny Charlie' songs were written by someone with at least direct familial connection with the Jacobite cause.
