Geologist. The geology professor I worked for as an undergraduate work-study student for two years always hoped I'd do something with it, and he would have supported me with great references and such, but I moved into interpretive naturalist work. I used the geology, but also biology, botany, natural history, and more, using all of them but mastering none.
