I was trying to say that I get bitten to smithereens by horseflies, aka clegs, every summer round here, but the nasty little itchy lumps go away in about five or ten minutes. On the other hand, Mrs Steve suffers miseries with them for hours if not days. But the bloody mozzies...

You can buy little tubes of hydrocortisone bite 'n' stings cream in supermarkets these days. Not bad. Anthisan doesn't work for me at all, and it stinks!
