I was at the weekly event a number of years ago, to support the United Mineworkers Locals that were on Strike against the Pittston Company, a local entertainer and his grandson did the Arkansas Traveler with the following variations:

> To get to the other side!
>Hey neighbor, why did the chicken cross the road?
> To see his friend Gregory, peck!
>Hey neighbor, why did the chicken cross the road?
> To show the possum it could be done!

I left out the appropriate inflection, and groans!
