I ran over an opossum the other night.
I was driving home from chorus rehearsal.
And the stupid opossum sauntered out into the road,
right in front of my auto, and stood there staring.
It was not possible to swerve on this occasion.
So I contributed to the local roadkill.
I don't feel good about it.
