Advice they probably already know, but, on the off chance they dont't - enlist family, friends, neighbours, hired help, whatever it takes, to make sure she's got someone with her at all times during the immediate recovery period, ESPECIALLY if she'e the type, and I see she may be, given Roger's comments, that says, " No, don't bother. I'll be fine, etc, etc."
