I'm a night person - I started work in 1970 when everyone did 9-5. A few years later the Public Service introduced Flexi-time, & I jumped at the chance to work 10-6, couldn't understand the colleagues who started at 7am - weirdos.

I had to catch the 8.05 intrastate train yesterday & as I said to the newsagent & the lady in the food shop where I bought my brekkie (yummy egg sandwich), I normally wake at 8! I had to go to bed just before 12, not 1.30 to 2, to get in my normal 6 hours, & do the stuff I needed to do before leaving.

I'm not sure about my favourite season, but I know my un-favourite - Sydney's hot humid summer!

Spring & autumn are both good & winter in my part of Sydney (edge of the CBD, near the harbour tho it's hidden by tall buildings) doesn't get very cold. I have my windows locked open 6" all year, & don't own a heater, I add layers & look like the Michelin man.

In spring some of the zygocacti on my north-facing windowsill flower, the rest of them flower in autumn.

Six of one, half a dozen of the other!
