re stopping 'gigging'-

Did you hear about the folk singer who won ten million pounds on the lottery? He was asked if it would change his life...

he replied 'no, I'll just carry on doing gigs till it's all gone'.

ps I hate that GIG word- it used to be a word for an event (noun) and not an activity (verb)- I much prefer 'touring' or doing bookings'- is it me?
