We've had two weeks of beautiful weather in Cornwall. Wall-to-wall sunshine almost every day. No heatwave but day temperatures around 18-20°C. We got to 23°C today. It's forecast to carry on like this for at least another week. Great for working outdoors and great for just sitting around and having barbies (as long as you don't leave it too late: the sun sets at about 9.20 but it's beginning to lose its anti-brr factor at about 8.15). We're making the most of it. I think May will bust our sunshine records but, though warmer than average (daytime max in Cornwall should be around 17°C in late May), I don't think temperature records will be broken. But with strong sun at UV 7 or 8, who cares!
