I've been sitting on The Bench in our front garden (south-facing) for many days, and I'm now as brown as a berry. I never mind strong heat (I can stand any heat, even in Africa!). Husband says I'm visibly turning into an African!
I always keep some cans of Diet Coke in the fridge to hand to the poor binmen, postman and couriers who look half-dead in the heat.
The forecast for the Bank Holiday is looking good - constant sunshine and warmth. But sadly, they've been rather inaccurate lately.
