Slow-moving is exactly right. The democratic part of the world outside the US has watched with dismay how the yanks have allowed someone who is clearly criminal to weave his way through what you laughingly call your justice system into a position of being a realistic presidential candidate (let alone a rock-solid cert to win if and when he becomes that candidate). If he wins, that's the end of democracy, and America has sleepwalked its way into this position. You have powerful vested right-wing interests and you have frightened politicians who are allowing this to happen. I said on this forum many years ago that your politics is infantile. We are now reaping the whirlwind of that. Meet Trump, your next president. Or I'll eat my bloody hat.
