Folks,
Another thread on guitar camps prompts this query. I'm thinking about heading to the Emma Lake fiddle camp in Saskatchewan this summer. Has anybody been? I'm pretty much a beginner on the fiddle, but I'm in no great rush, as befits a pursuit which will last me a lifetime. Finding time for lessions is difficult just now, and I want to nip any bad habits in the bud. Seems to me a week-long immersion might be the thing to do. Comments or suggestions on this or any other fiddle camp experience, particularly in western Canada, would be welcome.
