"TOM BOLIN - LIKE. A Mr. Amaziah String advertises in the Georgia Constitutionalist that a young man by the name of Merton had *run off with his two daughters* [Itals. in original]. We suppose he followed the familiar maxim of his prototype:

'One for fancy, and the other for kin,
I'll take them both, says Tom Bolin.'"
