We were regulars all through the 80s and into the o0s as it provided a great family holiday as well as the festival. Now the family are all grown up and we are still regilsr visitors to Whitby although we tend to avoid high summer now because of the cost. I tend to go to the festival for a few days on my own and the rest of the family visit the town as and when. In fact my daughters are there at the mo and having a great time!
