If you use the back arrow or backspace key, you go back to the previous page you were on, and it is not refreshed. If you post a message or use the forum home button, you should go to a refreshed Forum menu - works for me. Of course, if you're fast about reading messages, maybe nobody's posted a new message since you last looked, or maybe your browser is set to use the archived version of the page.
