The genuine Apple thuderbolt 3 to thunderbolt 2 converter is nearly £30 so I will not bother with that just to test them. There are cheaper one on eBay but if it didn't work, I would never know if it was the converter or my USB3 ports!

The USB A to C converter is quite cheap so I may get one of those anyway as it may come in for other stuff.

So, back to the original question - Anyone got a Mac device with a thuderbolt 2 connector that I can test them on?
