Lao-Tse steadfastly refused to involve himself in political matters, and he was universally considered to be the wisest man in China.

Jesus showed little interest in politics also. I suspect he would not have voted, if given the chance to. He had more vital matters and more important work on his mind.

Ditto for Buddha.

Point being: You don't necessarily have to be either ignorant or apathetic to regard the current political arena as not worth participating in. Look at all the pointless hatred it has engendered on this forum alone.

Maybe Matt is smarter than some of you give him credit for...

p.s. Should clueless people who care vote? How do we define and separate them from the ones who aren't clueless? Who decides? You're all clueless in someone else's eyes...or they are in yours.
