PS... I WAS going to post the following to the Piss Pot thread, but I'll post it now becasue it seems right. Being a new member, I recently read in the "Newcomers" .......

I would like to say one thing about flamers (those who say nasty things) and trolls (seemingly nice people who goad flamers and then provoke a flame war by playing the martyr): Do NOT respond to flamers and trolls. They feed on attention. The only way to control them is to ignore them and starve them from the attention they crave. Act as if they did not exist, and they usually will go away. If they don't go away, the Powers That Be will have an easier time dealing with them if others have ignored them. I know it's a natural thing to want to respond, but please don't.
