My ultimate aim is only to be paid through music. Not because I can put a dollar worth on it, but because it means that I can spend more time making music and less time at my other job, (in which I spend much of my time helping other people realise THEIR visions).

I would never knock back an opportunity to play if the gig organiser couldn't afford to pay. I left a commercial band because I couldn't handle paying Mustang Sally every night.

I'm in the perfect band now - we make music together because we want to, and people also pay us money to play. This pays for our recording habits and an upcoming UK tour. These things couldn't be possible without the dough!
