LOL, actually, I'm only throwing this out for the h of it!

flattop accused me of playing a set full of "opressive love songs" in the review he did of me on the Orillia Folk Society Monthly thread. I didn't think they were that oppressive!!!

I just wanted to see what 'catters would come up with. Probably "songs about love which are oppressive to listen to" would come closest to the definition.

And I want specific titles, too, not "search the DT".

What do you feel is a good "oppressive" love song, (or just a love song,) and why? And would you like to hear me sing it?
