I heard this excellent rewrite of Barrett's Privateers at the monthly shanty sing in San Francisco some time back, but foolishly neglected to ask the singer for the lyrics. Digging on here, I understand that it was the wish of the author - Mary LaMarca - that the lyrics not be shared online, but only with people who have heard it sung.

LaMarca is regretfully no longer with us, and I can't find any references to the song more recent than 2011. I'm curious whether anyone knows who the current "keeper" of the lyrics are, so that I might contact them for a copy.
