You could editorialize the social changes, expertise, empathy, and quality of posts that have changed over a quarter century if there are any.


Today its more rare for current threads to turn into a Republican debate of shouting chaos. I think there is a persistent reason why certain brains wire themselves to troll and stigmatize free thought. We all create the brain we have throughout our entire life via brain plasticity and our own thoughts.
"Neurons that fire together, wire together."

Freud and later Hebb introduced this idea but that is only half the story. There is also a garden-like pruning of connectedness and waste, "if you don't sync you lose the link." Pruning our brains occurs in sleep with microglial cells.

Self-directed practiced thought can acquire skills in music, geometry, and virtually anything possible in a positive or a negative direction.
Some may practice free thought and some practice the opposite.
