Subject: RE: Lyr Req: The Poachers Dog by the Fettlers
A living I have made, from the tinkering trade
But the secret I'll confide
I have found a way to make it pay
With me poacihin' on the side

With me dog .,......... I'm always there
Out upon a moonlit night
I'll take a ,,,,,,,, with me nobbly stick
All before the morning light

Look at him sit with his ears all split
He's as handsome as a frog
He'ii never do for the likes of you
He's me good old poachers dog

Now I don't give a damn, I'm a travellin man
And the reason I'm supreme
Is the dog like ……..me poachers dog
Takes gooder care of me

Though he's getting old and he's feeling the cold
Though he is past his prime
He keeps me away from Botany Bay
And the hangman and his like

Now I'll take a grouse and I'll rob yer house
If you fail to bolt the door
But I'll never does no harm with a firearm
And I'll never robs the poor

Me old poachers dog he's as mean as a hog
……………… such as thee
But his temper is mild with women or child
And he'd give his life for me

Some help with missing lyrics please. Song is on YouTube. I am learning to play the concertina and this is a nice easy song.

Cheers
