mousethief: Um, my Merriam-Websters Collegiate Dictionary defines the word "ice cap" as "a large contiguous FLOATING expanse of ice." The South Pole is a CONTINENT called ANTARTICA covered by a GLACIER (actually several of them).I believe the last line of the first paragraph of my post was "Maybe they were thinking about GLACIERS..." (Caps Mine) Perhaps I should have written is a less abbreviated format.
/signed/ "genius" (if you insist, but I do ever so much like "Claymore" best).
