I believe Svend Grundtvig's major work on Danish Ballads also contains references to German equivalents.
Sadly my knowledge of Danish is pretty much non-existent, and I'm not accustomed to working with it on any level really.

Does anybody know if there is an English or German language translation of Grundtvig's work available, in print or online?

I can always employ Google translate if there is a digital version of it online in Danish, if somebody has a link for that either!
