I recommend Shy, the volume of memoirs by Mary Rodgers,
who wrote Once Upon A Mattress,
in which Carol Burnett got her Big Break into the business.

Mary Rodgers died around 2014, and was the daughter of
Richard Rodgers, he of
Rodgers and Hart and also Rodgers and Hammerstein.
Her life was not easy, and she had a lethal wit,
much in evidence in Shy.

She has nothing but good to say about Carol Burnett, though.
