I don't think it's a question of snobbery - the best song in the world can be overdone until people are sick of it. I don't care for the song "When Irish Eyes Are Smiling". I don't think that is disrespectful to anyones memory, it's just a matter of my own personal taste. I'm not a professional musician and I won't be in any bars tomorrow so this won't be a problem for me.
