Thread Name: Pennine Folk '70's?
Subject: RE: Pennine Folk '70's?
I wonder if the version of "Banks of Newfoundland" sung by The Pennine Folk on "Both Sides of the Pennines" is Roud 1812 ("We’ll scrape her and we’ll scrub her with holystone and sand") or Roud 1972 ("For fourteen days and fifteen nights on the banks of Newfoundland"). Can anybody help?
