We have our local folk club Burns night celebration on Tuesday next, Jan 30th. Not a formal Burns Supper, though the evening will be ably hosted, as in many previous years, by a local Burns scholar, who always adds a mine of information to the evening. So no long speeches, though the haggis will be piped in and duly addressed, and we’ll all get haggis, neeps and tatties at half-time. There will be lots of songs, some tunes and recitations. Always a great night!
