Tasmania's 'piano man' Kelvin Smith says it's time to retire his instrument
It started with a vision — to get back into playing piano, and to do it in the most beautiful locations possible.
More than four years on, it has given musician and labourer Kelvin Smith more incredible experiences than he expected.
His piano has been dropped by helicopter on the Gordon Dam wall and has hung from a crane on Hobart's waterfront.
"But even the simplest of locations, just wheeling it out into the backyard, the local park, the local beach … just having a piano outdoors, there's something beautiful about that," Mr Smith said (read on & admire the pics!)
