Listen! Listen. The Cat is pissin. Where? Where? Under the chair. Run! Run! Get the gun. Too late, she'll soon be done.
These two examples illustrate -- perhaps inelegantly -- both the conservative retention of phrases, words, and sound, and the dynamic invention of variation....
