Lou rei a 'na nouriça
Pus bèla que lou jour.

Liroun lanfà de lalireta,
Pus bèla que lou jour,

Ela s'es endormida
Lo Dalfin al costat
Quand s'es desrevelhada
L'a trobat estofat
Es sortida, pecaire!
Per se'n anar negar
Lo rei a la fenestra
Que l'a vista passar
"On te vas, tu, noiriça?
Lo Dalfin va plorar.
Monta dins ta cambreta
E vai te'n cordurar."
Al primièr còp d'agulha,
Justicia n'a montat.
Al second còp d'agulha
Potencia n'a dreiçat
Quand foguèt sus l'escala
Lo Dalfin a parlat:
"Pendètz pas ma noiriça
Non l'a pas meritat!
Aquò es la sirventa
