There's already a thread about Geoff's song "It's Nearly Morning", but I'd now like to query whether anyone can supply the full and correct lyrics to Geoff's beautiful song In The Clear Dales Air that was sung by Melissa at the Mudcat singaround recently? She and I both found a couple of words in verse 3 that need clarification.
Geoff doesn't appear to have a website presence, and it's impossible to find out anything much about him or his career except that he emigrated from his native Yorkshire to Canada in the mid-70s and is now known as a BC songwriter and singer. Discogs site lists only two LPs by Geoff, from 1980 and 2000, both on BC themes, but he must've recorded when in Yorkshire, does anyone have an earlier LP?
