I'm not sure just how far the news has spread but I'm afraid Andy Valentine passed away a week ago. He will be sadly missed. On Thursday the 25th there will be a celebration of his life in the Civic hall, Holmfirth after a private ceremony in the morning.
The celebration starts at 3.00 pm, there is no dress code and musicians have been asked to bring instruments for a session, something I'm sure Andy would be in aggreement with.
