I have just received Volume 3 of The English And Scottich Popular Ballads, in hardback, of this from an Ebay bookseller and can not believe my luck! The quality of the volume that I have is exceptionally good. The preparation and presentation and the book is seriously impressive and the contents are eminently readable.
I have read the review by Robert Rodriquez and he has described the new edition of the Child Ballads accurately.
This book is a welcome addition to my collection and I am now in search of the other four volumes.
