Jim & Susie Malcolm took our tour group to the Highland Games at Braemar. I understand it's one of the most significant venues for Games. Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip and Prince Charles attended, which made it more interesting. Braemar is not far from Balmoral Castle. It's a lovely town.

We didn't experience any music there, other than the usual bagpipes, so I can't comment on that. We had our own ceilidh at another location, and a good time was had by all.
