Actually, Barbara, although we both work in Berkeley, we live in El Cerrito. Only half the people in our neighborhood are divorced--I don't know how many fool around. My wife and I just celebrated our 33rd anniversary (somehow we manage to tolerate each other--though it's often hard, particularly for her). I have to admit I can be very trying at times. Our son and our dogs (and some kind of strange mutual attraction) keep us together. --seed
