The official definition of the UK is not England, Scotlans etc. but the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. In turn, Great Britain is the biggest island of the British isles and comprises of England, Scotland and Wales. Thee British Isles are the set of islands off the north west coast of Europe!
