I wonder is it really remembrance of those on all sides… surely if it were, the money collected from the sales would go to the survivors on all sides?
I've nothing against people wearing a poppy if they want - though preferably only on 11 November - what I can't stand is the performative requirement of it on UK TV stations, etc.
