It is unclear why an anonymous Guest has revived this thread to post a set of words which add little or nothing to earlier posts. However I am pleased to have seen it, having missed the thread previously. I heard the Grehan Sisters once around 1966 and the chorus of this song has stuck in my head ever since, despite many of the words being unclear. As for blowing up other statues in Ireland, I have myself been known to sing the one about Lord Nelson's, though only on one occasion which I think was an anniversary when the event was being remembered.
