That new fire blew up really fast. It's to the north of town this time. The Hughes fire.

There are still a lot of people missing in the fires that started in early January. And there are a lot of people gouging on rent prices who are making the news when charges are filed. I suspect those are the tip of the iceberg, and it seems many of the renters themselves are pushing up rental prices by outbidding others on properties for rent.
