Mike,

When I am in the mudcat room(s), I try to stick mostly to blues or folk since that is what the site refers to. There are several other live rooms I go to as well. One changes names often depending on who is running it, but you will recognize it as usually having a large group - 20-40+. This one has more acoustic rock than folk (Beatles, James Taylor, Neil Young, etc) as well as some really great players - plus they are reasonably tolerant of my ramblings (not too long though). I also pop into "West Virginia & Ohio" for some country, "The Jazz & Ribs cafe" for blues etc. I enjoy hitting different rooms, but try to stick to one for the night to contribute both as a singer and a listener. So jump in and have fun. Be prepared, though. It can be addicting. I thought I spent alot of time on Paltalk until last weekend when I was with a group from 8:30 to 1:00. I checked back at 5:30 am and many were still there. Went to work and checked back about 4:00 pm and they were still going strong.
