Helen's post reminds me of Koyaanisquatsi, or however you spell it.
It means world out of balance,
and it's the name of a film from maybe twenty or twenty-five years ago.
The word comes from an indigenous language.
From the First Nations standpoint,
the world has been out of balance ever since
the European colonists showed up in this hemisphere.
