Taken me awhile to absorb this enormous loss. John was always there -at NY Pinewoods Club weekends and the folkmusic week at Pinewoods-and the Getaway and Mystic, and Essex and NEFFA and and and.He was gentle, generous, and gracious -a living treasure as the Japanese would have entitled him. Irreplaceable.
