Here and there throughout Mudcat, you'll notice that melodies are posted in a strange code that worked on a DOS program that Alan Foster of Australia programmed for us. With everything being Windows now, it's hard to use Alan's program. I finally stopped trying to make it work in each successive version of Window.

BUT Alan set up the program so it also displays ABC notation. You can copy the ABC notation and paste it into the two ABC converters I've linked to above.
