I knew Michael in the late Sixties up to the mid Seventies when we lost touch. He took me under his wing and I have many great memories of travelling around the country together. He was a man of immense wit and humour. The stories are many and the scrapes and escapades numerous. I still regard those days as some of the best of my life.
