Just received a set of camel bone bridge pins in the mail for my D-18 Martin


First thing I do before installing bridge pins is file a 45 degree angle on the bottom of each. This prevent the ball end getting snagged on the end of the pin and BAM!, suddenly letting go and slamming into the bridge plate (not good).

Hold the pin slot upwards and file an angle on the tip. Your bridge plate will thank you for it!
