Thread Name: Any May songs?
Subject: RE: Any May songs?
May 1941; Following the administration of his oath of office on May 13, Woody Guthrie embarked upon the most productive month of songwriting in his life. Under a one-month contract worth $266.66, in the next 30 days he wrote 26 songs for the Bonneville Power Administration. The songs included Roll On Columbia, Roll On, The Biggest Thing That Man Has Ever Done, Pastures of Plenty and Hard Travelin'.
